Research and Resources

If you are prompted for a password or user ID when logging on to any of the Library's databases, use the word "library."

One of the many benefits that comes with your Library Card is access to numerous online resources.  These databases are available to you twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week and they are free!  Take some time to explore the wealth of information available to you through Murrysville Community Library.

Gale Virtual Reference Library is the reference section of the Library at your fingertips.  These electronic reference books are up-to-date and cover the following subjects:  business, education, environment, general reference, history, law, literature, medicine, multicultural studies, nation and world, science and social science.

The Power Library provides access to full text periodical articles, newspapers, a major encyclopedia, plus photographs, pictures, charts, maps, and reference materials.
