Welcome
to the
Westmoreland County Federated Library System
YOUR LIBRARY CARD
IT'S FREE!
If you live in Westmoreland County you can have a free library card at any member library.
IT'S EASY!
Visit any of the libraries in the Westmoreland County Federated Library System and fill out a library card application. Children must bring a parent or guardian to sign the application and provide proof of address.
IT'S FUN!
The libraries have books, magazines, cassettes, records, videos, storytimes and other programs which are all FREE. Just remember to return the materials by the due date. If you borrow materials and haven't finished using them by the due date, many items can be renewed.
HOW DOES THIS BENEFIT YOU?
As a resident of Westmoreland County, you have free borrowing privileges at all member libraries in the county.
You may also participate in the statewide ACCESS PA card program which entitles you to borrow materials from any participating Pennsylvania library.

Resource-sharing is critical to the success of our system. Many of the libraries in the system have very strong collections and some have particular areas of strength which are of great value to other member libraries. Determining an effective and efficient way to locate and share materials is an important part in making the system valuable.
Go to the Westmoreland Information Network Catalog to search the holdings of all of the participating libraries in the county. You can even place holds and renew your books. You'll need your library card and the password is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
Call or visit your library. A librarian can answer your question over the telephone or in person.
