FAQ

Why can’t I log into my Patron Account?

Make sure that you are entering all 14 characters of your Library Card barcode with no spaces. Your barcode is found on the back of your Library Card. You must have a current Library Card to access your Patron Account.

What is my password?

Your password is the last four digits of the first phone number you listed on the form you completed for your Library Card. You do have the option of setting your own password for your Patron Account, but the Library will not have a record of your new choice.

Why is there a “block” on my Patron Account?

A Library Card may be “blocked” for several reasons, the most common of which is the need for an “Address Check.” Our database software prompts us to confirm each Patron’s current address on a yearly basis. A block of this type would prevent a Patron from downloading an eBbook. If this happens to you, please call the Library and a staff member will resolve this issue for you.

A Library Card may also be “blocked” if there is more than $10.00 in unpaid fines on that Library Card or on an associated Library Card. A child’s Library Card is associated with his or her parent’s Library Card. If a child’s Library Card has more than $10.00 in unpaid fines, a block will be placed on the parents’ Library Card.

I lost my Library Card. How do I get another one?

If you have lost or misplaced your Library Card, you may present your driver’s license in order to check out Library materials. A $1.00 fee is charged to replace a lost Library Card.
